The National President Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA), Mrs Umma – Kalsum Tukur Buratai has warned women and youths to engage in entrepreneurial activities and avoid idleness. She made the charge in Kaduna while donating charity items to widows and soldiers wives at 2 Battalion parade ground Ribadu Cantonment Kaduna.
Mrs Buratai revealed that idleness breeds poverty and hatred among people living together.
While calling on women and youths to avail themselves with the opportunities provided by NAOWA Skills acquisition institutions across the country, the NAOWA boss reiterate the importance of entrepreneurship in uplifting the standard of troops family.
At 44 Reference Hospital, the Medical Directed Brig Gen IBJ Okeke while receiving medical equipment from NAOWA pointed out that the regular visit the association conduct will provide psychological healing to the wounded soldiers on hospital admission.
